Winking santa: finished!

Finally, I have some work finished. This is one of the 18" santa's that I have been working on. He was supposed to be accompanied with a fireplace, but alas, the powers that be, did not see it happening that way. So, instead, he is holding this wonderful little teddy bear. 
Not the way I had it planned, but the fire place continued to crack no matter how many repair attempts I made. So, the lesson learned is not to use wood as a base support in a project. On the other hand, I have a delightful little elf out of the project because he was supposed to sit on top of the fire place and help santa stuff the stockings. LOL So, hopefully in a couple of days, he'll come into being too. We shall see. I would like to have him completed for this upcoming weekends event. But hard to say since I'm still fighting this darn cold bug.
Anyway, here he is, hope ya like him:
