I'm wondering if the guild has a badge to add to my website to show my guild affiliation? So far I have not stumbled across one as of yet, so I wasn't sure if there was one or not. Shrug

Lori a badge is a great idea, I'm just not that good at making them! Laughing
We have this banner >>> Forum Badge Smg_banner

You don't have to be a member to use the banner and link to us, so it would be very nice to have some sort of "badge" for just members to show off that links back to here or the Santamakers website.

Now all we need is a member that is good at Photoshopping to make us one! I could try to make one but I pretty much suck at coming up with logo designs. It would be nice to have submissions so that we could vote for one.

I probably should have posted my last post to here. lol OH well. Shrug Idea But anyway, as you probably read earlier, what about the little icon at the bottom of the forums? It's pretty nice, and folks around here are used to looking at it by now. But, I admit, I do like the banner too! Perhaps I can sweet talk my husband into helping with the badge. devil naughty angel He can be a little computer saavy from time to time since he claims to have a masters in computer engineering. rofl Perhaps I can talk him into something, unless someone here knows first hand how to do one. By the way, where do we find the banner at to link on our websites? I would imagine the html text would be similar, with the exception of swapping out the images. Atleast, that is what I would think anyway.

Hugs,
Lori

The information for the banner is under the "Contribute" link on the Guild website. I'll try to post the html here. Hopefully the code will show up here! Smile

Code:
<a target="_blank" href="http://santamakersguild.com"><img border="0" src="http://www.santamakersguild.com/Santamakers_Forum/smg_banner.jpg" width="338" height="150"></a>
Spoiler:

It would be great if we could have a little badge! What's so funny is that I have been trying to talk my hubby into help making one too! Keep working on your hubby maybe between the two of us we will have a badge before we retire! Laughing

Well, I think I've talked my hubby into doing this badge for us....of course...there are strings attached as usual. rofl Anyway, if we can come up with the badge pic that we want, then he can create the link for us with the pic. The only thing is that it will be a simple thing. In otherwords, see the pic link, click on it, and it redirects you to santamakers. Nothing fancy, just short and sweet get the job done type of thing. But, I think that is really all that is needed really. Shrug

As an after thought, I just pasted the banner to my site. That works just fine, in my opinion. I mentioned the badge initially cause I didn't realize there was a banner of some sorts. But, if ppl are wanting something that is smaller than the banner, then I can still get my hubby to do the html for it as long as we can come up with a pic for the badge. Shrug

Take care,
Lori
