I have just registered and looked at the gallery and all the wonderful Santas everyone has been making,
They are just amazing and have fired me up to get going again. We are still experiencing very hot days as it is summer down here.
It slows down the brain which means hard to get inspired.
I am also thrilled to see The grandfatherclaus is up and creating again. I am lucky to have her Samuel and he is not hidden throughout the year but on show everyday and he is one of the family.
cheers to you all for a wonderful 2010 and looking forward to talking to you.

I received a letter approving my request to join the "Guild member" only today. I did not know where I was up to with the group until now.

Ozinick, it is delightful to meet you! I live in Florida, but lately you would not know it was the sunshine state with the exception of the sun smiling down on us all here. lol It's been unusually cold this winter, but I have enjoyed the cooler weather very much. I also wish you a happy new year and hope that it is a blessed one for you and for your family!

Again, glad you made it to the forums here and I look forward to seeing some of your nifty creations! Hello to all the wonderful makers of Santas. 199299

Thankyou Lori
We have had a very hot summer and if we follow the Nth hemisphere it looks like a cold winter. I just saw the snow and trouble on the roads in USA on the Tv and the cold and slush in New York, perhaps the heat isn't too bad.

HaHa, yeah, they are a little sloshed in the northern part of the states here. I like the snow and I like the cooler weather, but I also hate to shovel snow. I did that living in Portland, Maine a couple of years so shoveling snow is something that I do not miss one little bit! I would rather the snow be a nice 2-3 inch dusting, then melt away. haha Ideally, my temperature would be around 68-70 degrees all the time. That would be like HEAVEN. haha Florida tends to get a little TOOOOO hot and humid for my liking. I can't wait til the day I can relocate and head north to the mountain regions.

Hugs,
Lori

HELLO LORI
Well I have really started something and everyone has come out of the cold and the closet to talk how lovely it is.
It is cooler today and hubby and I have just been for a drive up through the forrest and it is lovely and fresh after the rain. We never go up there in the summer because of the risk of fires and we can now see where it was burnt in 2009.
I am finishing off a doll for a swap in another group and then into Santas as I am now fired up. I do have a couple of gail Wison Santa kits to make up and may start with them.
Have a good day and everone else too.
