Yup, I've been "published"! I was first featured in the rural Missouri electric coop magazine in Dec of '09. That's a generic name for the publication, which has many names across Missouri. It goes to over 500,000 people! Wow. I was on cloud 9 or 10. They found me on the "Best of Missouri Hands" website. I was also featured in two local newspapers. Last year I joined the American Gourd Society, and they asked me to do an article, so I rewrote the same one for them and told them to use any pics off my website. They not only included a good few pics, I also made the coverof the December issue!! Again, wow! I joined the Show-Me Gourd Society at the same time, and had a booth at the gourd festival in Sedalia, MO. I entered several pieces, and took 5 - 1st place, one 2nd, and Best Crafter. So needless to say, I'm a happy camper at this point. Woot
