It's unusual.... Empty It's unusual....

For me not to be in here posting on a regular basis. I just wanted to send my apologies for not keeping things hopping around here. My merriment became somewhat lackluster this holiday season for reasons I'll explain briefly.

You don't have to respond to the post and I don't mean to ruin anyone's day or holiday season, but I just wanted to let you know why I have not been around these last couple of weeks. My oldest son, who just turned 21 y/o at the beginning of the month was in jail for these past few months. He committed suicide by hanging himself in jail on the 15th of this month. It took the wind out of my sails as you can imagine. And, finally, the tears in the well ran dry so I am not able to cry any more; but I am able to see life a little more clearer now that my eyes have had a good washing over.

I'll be back up to par soon, but think I just need to take a little break to rejuvenate my soul.

Just wanted to let you all know I love and miss you all, even though I haven't been around.

Oh Lori...my heart, thoughts and prayers are with you. I can not even begin to imagine what you are going through. I wish I was close enough to come and sit with you...hold your hand and just be there for you. If there is anything that I can do...please let me know.
