Warm welcome to Karenvl
Hello Karenvl,
Very nice to meet you and very wonderful to have you join us here! I visited your website and I wanted to say I have seen your santas before. They are absolutely beautiful and capture the magic of the wonderful old man himself. I can't wait to see more of your work!
Again, a warm welcome to you....
Hugs,
Lori

YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi Lori and Hello Karen!
Oh, heck.........Hi EVERYBODY!!!!!!!! :excited:I'm back home and back online!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow, have there been things happening around here! Don't know if I'll be able to respond to everything, but I'm so happy to be back!
Karen, I'm thrilled to see that you've joined the group! Remember me from the Old SantaMakers and Koehler????? I sure remember you and your sister! I visit your web site once in awhile and enjoy your work. It'd be wonderful if some more of the old gang joins back up here. This bunch is a hoot! (And I say that in all love and sincerity. )
It's a happy happy day. Hugs to all.

Welcome Karen,
Took a look at your web site, I love you work, but the life size Santa's are unreal.
Diane, welcome back, I thought you had ran away or something.

Re: Warm welcome to Karenvl
Wow, what a nice welcome back!! Thank you!!
Darel, I had posted that I was going to upstate NY with my sisters to help out an elderly aunt. Her daughter (my cousin) had died last year (only 49), as well as my cousin's husband and her sister (my aunt). All from illnesses. (sigh) Anyway, She had inherited all their belongings which were jambed everywhere in her house. Unfortunately, when my cousin and then her husband died, the movers just scooped everything up in their place and stuffed it into boxes...and I mean everything. Good things, trash, everything. It was unbelievable. Also, my other aunt's belongings were shipped from Florida. What a job and impossible for my aunt. Bordering on impossible for us!! We'll have to go back up when we can because we weren't near done. At least she can see her basement floor now. Because of scheduling, we had to leave when we did, but she was going to have surgery the next day. Bad timing, but she seems to be doing ok. (She's 81.) THEN I stayed a few days in PA helping my mom. I could access the computer there, but didn't have the time to spend on it. Now I'm back...and have a little grandson on my lap. First thing he wanted to do was make a Santa!
Karen, I'm doing pretty well....finally! I trust you are, too! Thank you for asking. And how is Mary? She's doing Santas - of course...... Isn't she? I have to tell you. Four years ago I was given a big surprise 50th birthday party and a number of people pitched in and bought me "The Sleigh"!!!!!!!! It still needs a Santa to go with it, but I love having it up on the stereo cabinet year round 'till that happens! I had seen it online before and was so happy to see that you had found it, too. Gorgeous, isn't it????? Was that the only time you had used one, or did you buy another? (Big bucks, though, right??!!!!)
Paula, I'm glad to be back! Isn't it great to be able to type in one state and have such friends in another! Thank you. Hope things are going well with you!!!
Lori, you doll. I missed you, too. Seems that you have been EXTREMELY busy lately! What's your secret? No sleeping?? Hmmmmmmmmm???? As soon as I finish this last project with Greg I'll get to work on that Santa of mine. Gotta catch up with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, thanks again for the warm welcome, everyone! Big hugs all around!!

Re: Warm welcome to Karenvl
Darel, Diane, Regi, Lori Thanks for the nice Welcome...
hope i didn't miss a name....
Diane,
Mary is actually in the hospital right now, had a bout with pnuemonia and couldn't breathe, had to call the ambulance herself --and just in time she had respiratory failure.
She is doing ok now, but they are checking her heart out too to make sure it wasn't caused by anything else.
She gets a cath tomorrow. So, I want to ask for prayers for her health.
she has been taking care of her little grandson, and loving it... so took a pause on Santa's for a while.

Re: Warm welcome to Karenvl
Hey ya Karen, saw you at the other site but never got the chance to speak with you. A lot of the time I forgot that Santa makers was there, plus I kinda got out of the Santa vogue for awhile. I hope we can become fast friends. I adore the girls in here, Darel I know your not a girl, so don't grow any thing extra ha ha. You know I adore you too! Lots of things on my plate right now so I'm not posting as much as I should, but I'm slowly catching up. Welcome to the new site. If you need any help Patty and I are here. Huggs Paula
