Woo girl, I have got the itch to make some Santas again after being on a long break and no longer working with them. Believe me I have tons of UFO's (unfinished objects) sitting on shelves and in cubby holes that are begging to be worked on. Going in circles I finally found a tool that I have been looking for since I started sculpting, (Thank you Carrie), and I have been swapping materials with some of my friends to get my stash set up once again. I want to start making smaller more affordable sculpts. I am taking a different approach to my work now, since time is a premium for me. Then, I saw the redesign of Santamakers and it just inspired me even more.
I am hoping that all of you get that bug again. It's not really about making money, it's about your creativity, your escape from the mundane, the fantasy side of you peeking through. I know a lot of you have given up on the big guy, because you can't sell what you make, but where there is a will, things have a way of surprising even me. So get to squishing that clay people, and bring the comradery of Santamakers back to life.

I'm a noob here, but I'm also getting in Santa mode again. Gotta start building up inventory for the upcoming season.

With the weather gradually starting to improve here, I'm taking full advantage of it. Have been working on the house and my garden. Hopefully by next week, I will be able to get back to sculpting full time again, and start stashing my pieces for the holidays. I just have a good feeling about it this time.
