Cloth Doll
I have finished my Hoffman Doll Challenge and I will try to post her in other figures. The theme is Earth, so her name is Terra Fae, and her base is named Aarde Padestoel. The Enchanted Gypsy challenge is next, and then its on to Santa & witches.
Terra Fae
Hoopie, she's super! Great face and love that outfit! And you made the stand? It's all wonderful and I hope that you win!
I'm happy to see you posting again. Wouldn't it be nice if a lot of the ol' timers join up with us on this site?
Hugs...Diane

Re: Cloth Doll
Yes I made the stand, it was kind of a fun project. Its a bit more difficult sculpting things with cloth than clay ! lol Thanks, I loved the challenge and if they choose your doll to travel with them it goes all around the country to big events ! I have to tell you there are some fabulous cloth dollmakers who enter this, so my chance are small, however they are zero if I don't !!! LOL
It would be great to see more from the old group, I think some like Bonnie Jones has moved away from Santas as they are not great sellers any longer. I have to admit I sell quite a few witches myself.

Hoopie,
I just adore this doll of yours. What magnificent detail you have on it! Terra Fae definately is not a boring doll to look at with so many intricate details. She is just wonderful! I wish you a lot of luck in the contest!
Many hugs,
Lori

Re: Cloth Doll
Hoopie she is wonderful!! The bead work & the stand just blows me away! Good luck!
I too would like to see some of the old members start showing their faces again. The nice thing is, Santamakers is not just limited to Santa's. Hopefully Bonnie and a few others will stop in and share their other creations, once the word gets around. I think Santa's will make a come back too once the economy starts picking up.

Thankyou for the great comments. I have sent it off and hope it makes it as at least one of the travelers.
It has been so hot here in the desert...
