I just wanted to drop in and spread little Christmas spirit in here to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas! From my house to yours! 492841

I know that times are tough, and gifts will be slimmer than usual probably for a lot of people. Our household will be no different. But, there is one thing that I do every year no matter what and that is decorate my house. It is my gift to the community and people always look forward to seeing it all lit up. Our house sits on a major through way through our little town. 2 lane traffic on a one way street. lol One day, destined to be a historic district. At any rate, we get a lot of viewers, passer bys, and lots of peeps taking pictures. Thought I'd share the festivity with all of you too.

Enjoy!
Merry Christmas to all,
Lori

Lori it's just beautiful! Wish I had the smarts and tenacity to put lights up. Electricity it not my forte so to speak. Danny thinks lights look doofie outside, so he won't do it. Funny thing is we go look at other peoples outside lights,,,,, go figure From my house to yours! 432100 From my house to yours! 432100

My God Lori,

That is outstanding and a work of art in its self.

I had thought I would put some lights up this year, but now, after seeing Lori's work of art, I feel very very inadequate. I think I shall go back to my chair by the fireplace with a glass of wine and not think of putting up lights again untill next christmas.

Great job Lori.

From my house to yours! 199299 haha Darel....you better get busy or else your wife will hang you by your toenails at the fire place instead of your stocking! LOL Just take your bottle of wine with you and string a few lights, before you know it, you'll be merrier by the minute and will hang more lights than you had thought posible in no time at all! LOL From my house to yours! 805951 (shhhh, don't tell anyone, but that is my secret)

I know what ya mean, Paula. I'm fortunate that Leon doesn't mind my 50,000 lights. LOL But, when I was a kid, my father would never hang lights. I always wish he would have though. My mother and siblings, we would drive around town and enjoy everyone else's lights. I guess I'm making up for all those years now. LOL From my house to yours! 699332

Glad you liked them!

Hugs,
Lori

From my house to yours! 321201 Ohhhh LORI...they look awesome!!!!!! thank you thank you for sharing. I would so love to put lights up like that but I live in a very old community and most my neighbors well I don't think they could handle all the BRIGHTNESS....LOL!!!! How long did it take you to put up those lights? Amazing!!! Now I can't wait to see how you decorate the INSIDE!!!! I love this..hummmm...a point was brought up...why is it that my man won't put up lights but is the first one to hollar "Let's go look at all the Christmas lights". ROFL....maybe I need to buy him a bottle of wine and some lights and put him in the front yard and tell him he can't come back in until it's done.....HOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHO!!!!

Are you referring to the lights being done....or the bottle of wine! From my house to yours! 315225

Thank you for your wonderful compliment! I think it tooks us all working together, a matter of 3-4 days to complete. Maybe less than that, but it got strung out over a few days due to rain in between trying to get things done. I'm still waiting on my other neighbors to put up some stuff. They usually follow our lead. hehe From my house to yours! 699332

Thank you.
I'm not just addicted to clay.
But also to make flash movies.
I make it with adobe flash, which is a wonderful program.

I would drive past your house, but it is too far
