W.I.P. Santa
https://i.servimg.com/u/f36/15/46/08/60/santa10.jpg
I do not know if it works with the photo.
But surely one WIP of my Santa.
The idea is that there are four elves to come.
And there is still much work to do.
I want for Christmas that Santa is finished.
Fortunately it is not so hot.
It rained all day yesterday and today, joy.
Now the PC off and I'm going to work.
Have a nice day everyone.
Greeting Ineke

Re: W.I.P. Santa
Thank you Regi,
I doubt whether I make the beard of clay.
or with white Tibetaans lamshaar, beautiful.
But I still have time to think.

Thanks.
I do not understand completely.
It's hard for me to follow English.
The shorter the sentences, the better the translation engine is Google translate.
Also I make the clothes from clay and this makes everything much thicker.
I do now five elves.
An elf with a bottle opener, a bottle of beer open it.
An elf who spends his boot.
An elf sew a hole in his sock.
An elf who brings a boot away.
An elf who brings his slippers.
This idea I got to seeing the pictures of Santa's Coca cola advertising.
So much work to do.
Re: W.I.P. Santa
Ineke....this piece is going to be amazing!!! I am working on some of my Santa designs for this year too. I want to do one of Santa and one elf.....the elf putting tobacco in Santa's pipe.
SO happy that we are all chatting in here again. I have missed everyone.

I can not wait. Quick send a photo.
It is nice to be here again.
This encourages it to continue working hard.

Ineke, That is one of the most creative Santa's idea's I have seen in a long time. Great job.
I always knew that Santa liked a beer everynow and then.

Re: W.I.P. Santa
I'm soooooo ashamed to be missing out on all of this excitement! Please forgive me, dear Ineke. But, better late than never I guess. Ineke, this Santa sounds marvelous with all of his little elves. You have a lot of work to do. That is for certain. Next time, you can make Mrs. Claus. She can be drinking wine!
Your Santa looks great so far! I can not wait to see what more you have done with him.
Hugs,
Lori

It's gonna be marvelous to see it all finished. And, you are right, you know me too well already. Eventually I will be along to make comments about everything. haha You, are indeed, a good friend.
Looking forward to seeing your wonderful Santa updates. I'll definitely be back to enjoy him some more.

Re: W.I.P. Santa
Nice job on the coat, Ineke. :-) I'd say your Santa man is looking dapper these days. He is going to be wonderful once he is finished. I'm guessing you will be working on a hat next? Or will he be without a hat? Either way, he is very charming.
Re: W.I.P. Santa
Ineke, Great Job. He is looking better and better. I can't wait to see this one finished. It is such a cleaver idea.
I love it.

Re: W.I.P. Santa
Thank you Lori and Darel.
A little further.
Yes, I give him a Christmas hat, i think.
The elves have change of the original idea.
But I still keep it as a surprise.
The beard and the hair is difficult to make of clay.
Like an honest response.

Re: W.I.P. Santa
Ineke, You are right hair is hard to do in clay, but his is looking great. I like the long beard better than the short one. Not that there was anything wrong with the short one.
I can't wait to see what you do with the elves!
If you don't mind me asking, what kind of clay are you using?
Please keep us posted as you progress. Great work.

I use clay Formo. This clay dries in the air.
The great thing about this clay is that you can slowly build up the creation.
That's actually my way of working. Also, the clay is very soft and fibrous.
