Sorry folks! I've had double vision for the last 6 weeks. I'm still not quite right but I haven't been able to even look at a computer screen until yesterday. It looks like I have a lot of catching up to do and you will have to be patient with me. I'm still having trouble if I stare at the screen too long or turn my head to the right.

I also noticed ads appearing at the top of the page. When did that start? Sad

Wow, I hope you are on your way to recovery! Double trouble! 617210 Did you go to the dr.? and what did they think caused it? That is terrible. I can only imagine what it must be like seeing double like that. Double trouble! 531751 I do hope you feel better soon. Take your time jumping on here. I think Paula has wiped us all into shape so you don't have to worry about that. hehe Double trouble! 315225

To tell ya the truth, I have no idea when the ads started to show up. Feels like they have been there for quite a while now. I don't pay them any attention though. Double trouble! 481660 But then again, I go through life with selective seeing anyway. Perhaps I have double vision too. I see things with one eye that the other prefers not to notice. LOL Double trouble! 433660

Hugs to you,
Lori

Patti,

I hope you have seen a doc! I would go crazy if I were seeing double. I pray everything clears up quickly.

I am not sure I have seen the adds, but I am like Lori there, I do have selective seeing. Peggy tells me I look for things like a guy. Which means I can't see things that are right in front of my face. ACCORDING TO HER!

I hope your eyes clear up soon.

Hi Patty!
So sorry about your eye trouble. I had mentioned that I had severe blurring/partial blindness in my right eye last year.......couldn't drive for almost the whole year and Santa-ing was impossible, too. One doctor thought it could be one of several different eye diseases, but nope....my neck was out. Went to the chiropractor quite a few times. I'm almost completely back to normal, now. (No wisecracks out there!! Double trouble! 579648 ) Hope you at least consider that route!
Keep us posted!!!!
Hugs......Diane Double trouble! 865796

Patty the reason I haven't said anything about ads is because I don't see any ads. Honestly, I have checked every page since you said something about it, and I don't see any thing. Even thought there was a setting for it. Maybe I haven't found it. Am I going mad or something?

Paula,
I think the ads she might be talking about are the ones located on the "sign in" screen. You know, when you have the first page to the website, then you click on "forums" then you have to sign in before you can make post? It's on your sign in page. Atleast, that is where I see the ads. Double trouble! 481660

Maybe I'm the one going nuts or something. Double trouble! 225309 I wouldn't be surprised....that or again, it's my selective seeing. Double trouble! 110414 LOL

Oh,,,,, Ok call me dippy, I don't ever sign out so maybe thats why I don't see it. I just automatically link to home and the forums. I guess one less page means a few extra seconds of time for me. Glad I'm not mad, just a little befuddled lol thanks for the info. huggs

Well, I guess I tried to do too much when my sight started clearing up. The darn thing started all over again! That will teach me not to brag about it getting better.

Still, I am MUCH better than I was! Wow Diane, never even considered having neck trouble and I can't imagine if this continued for a year! I think I'd go crazy! There is so much I need to catch up on and I feel like I'm moving at a snails pace! Not just here, but I have people relying on me to update their websites! This is driving me crazy!

I forgot who asked, but my eye problem, believe it or not is related to Rheumatoid arthritis. Who would have guessed it could cause this much trouble. One thing that I have found that seems to help is an ice pack on my eyes.

The good news is since I can't read, I've been trying to clean out my studio. I have an over abundance of supplies. I figured that when I can see, I'll list my extra supplies in the photo gallery for sale and some of the stuff I'm going to give away for the cost of shipping. I have a few fur coats that are going to ruin if I don't do something with them!

Hi Patty....I'm glad that your eyes are getting better and please REST REST REST...everything will wait on ya...pile up a bit but it will wait...LOL!!! I understand about the RA...that is how I was diagnosed at 13....an eye exam. Ice packs do help and I'm sending healing thoughts your way.

I'm excited about seeing your extra supplies. Maybe we could all have a swap/gift care package challenge. FOlks sign up and you exchange with your partner some of your extra goodies. Just a thought....Wink

Patty, glad you are doing better. It is good to see you back on the boards now, even if it is a little here and there. Some things take time. It is true, that arthritis conditions can affect the eyes. RA is one of those nasty things; I have ankylosing spondylitis ( a form of arthritis that also stems from the same thing as RA called HLAB27). It too, can cause the same type of problems.

At any rate, take your time to get better and don't rush yourself. Things might pile up around you, but that doesn't mean they can not be taken care of at a later date.

Hugs,
Lori
